Product catalog summary
Specifications:
The s22 bench is constructed with a frame made of galvanized mild steel with a polyester powder coating, and a seat surface made of iroko hardwood. The bench dimensions are 1800mm in length, 450mm in width, and 450mm in height. Options include unfinished timber or micro porous stain for the wood.
Materials and Durability:
The materials are chosen for their outdoor durability and aesthetic appeal. The timber components have a factory-applied micro porous woodstain to preserve color and longevity. Maintenance is required to maintain appearance, influenced by environmental conditions and usage.
Maintenance of Steel Frame:
The steel frame is coated with a durable polyester powder finish. Regular cleaning with warm soapy water is recommended, avoiding abrasive cleaners. For paint chips or scratches, touch-ups can be done with acrylic paint. If the galvanized coating is damaged, clean with a wire brush and apply a zinc-rich primer before the top coat. For further advice, contact Omos.
Maintenance of Timber:
Sikkens woodstain coatings are applied to preserve the timber's color. Dirt can be removed with mild detergents. Re-coating is necessary over time to maintain color, with Sikkens products recommended. Untreated timber will turn silvery grey but remain structurally sound.
