FULLY AUTONOMOUS SMART LIGHTING SYSTEM OMNILED is an autonomous smart lighting system fully powered by sun and wind energy. It turns renewable energy into autonomous IoT services. Its unique design blends advanced aerodynamics with a simple geometry allowing continuous operation even in urban scenarios. PV cells cover the top surface of the design-patented shroud, while its distinctive geometry based on an inverted wing shaped airfoil directs the free wind stream from any direction to a diffuser hence promoting a speed up effect into a central wind turbine. Sourced energy is stored in a shroud-enclosed...

OMNILED typical installation over an 8 m pole can adaptively illuminate its surrounding up to 20 m in diameter. It is equipped with a motion sensor that combined with the systems’ controller, can autonomously set into saving mode when activated by nearby movement hence extending LED and batteries’ life. Energy efficiency plays a major role in our product development hence all OMNILED built-in controller electronics have been designed to be as lean as possible, leaving the majority of the energy for the additional layer of IoT features. Since grid connection is optional, the equipment can be used...
