DO-IT-YOURSELF OLYMPIC® RESCUE IT!™ Wood & Concrete Resurfacer Instructions: Application to Wood Olympic® RESCUE IT!™ Wood and Concrete Resurfacer is the ultimate remedy for severely weathered or damaged wood and concrete. This high performance, 100% acrylic coating provides outstanding elasticity to fill cracks up to ¼", lock down splinters and provides a barefoot friendly, extremely durable surface that resists fading and creates a mildew resistant coating while giving new life to your wood. OLYMPIC® RESCUE IT!™ Wood & Concrete Resurfacer can be tinted to over 110 colors in the Olympic Exterior Stain palette to create your perfect outdoor living space. Please refer to the in-store color display or the Olympic Exterior Stain Solid Color card. DO-IT-YOURSELF ITEMS NEEDED TO COMPLETE THIS PROJECT Cleaning: • Olympic® Premium Deck Cleaner • Garden Style Pump Sprayer • Stiff bristle broom/brush PICTURE 1 Product Application: • 9" standard roller tray (a liner is recommended for easy clean up) THINGS TO KNOW BEFORE YOU START • ½" nap roller (for latex coatings) and extension pole • Before applying the first coat, wood cracks and depressions deeper than ¼" should be filled with an exterior paintable sealant caulk. DO-IT-YOURSELF RAILINGS & TRIM After you have cleaned the wood, it is a good time to stain all vertical surfaces such as railings and under-the-deck lattice or trim. You can apply RESCUE IT!™ Resurfacer to vertical surfaces or you can use MAXIMUM® Solid Color Stain. (Picture 1) APPLYING FIRST COAT • Surface must be thoroughly dry before application. • Before application, cover and tape off surrounding areas. • Thoroughly stir, then pour a generous amount of product into the roller tray. • Before rolling on the first coat, use a brush to: – Apply RESCUE IT!™ Resurfacer between decking...

DO-IT-YOURSELF APPLYING SECOND COAT • Cut in with a light dabbing stroke around the edges of the entire deck surface. (Picture 1) • Dab the product into any cracks, nail or screw holes and knots that still need to be filled. (Picture 2) • Repeat the steps performed above. (Picture 3) • Allow the final coat to dry at least 12 hours before foot traffic and 48 hours before replacing furniture or heavy objects (such as potted plants).
