COMPANY HISTORY

On March 1st of 1954, Oliveira & Irmão SA was founded in Aveiro (page 5) as a small family business that along its path went through different areas of business. In the 1980s OLI set up its first cistern production unit. During the following ten years. OLI grew exponentially, which led to the integration with the Italian (1-2) Fondital Group in 1993. The group has about 2,600 employees and is present in four sectors of activity: heating; aluminum; hydraulic and chrome plating; and fire protection. HOW IT WORKS: 1. Water enters the cistern to fill it; 2. As the water fills the cistern, it passes through the hydro generator that harnesses this movement to generate and accumulate the energy until the inlet valves closes; 3. This energy supplies a capacitive sensor which, in addition to detecting the proximity of the human body (up to 20mm), also monitors the accumulated energy levels in the hydro generator.
