Technical Qualities BIAMAX by Oikos is a decorative paint for interiors with fillers of a selected grain size. The product is based on acrylic resins in water dispersion and has a Low Environmental Impact. It is vapour permeable and extremely resistant to abrasion and is available in the versions 03 (grain size max 0,3mm) and 07 (grain size max 0,7mm). BIAMAX, thanks to its notable coverage, can be used directly as a coloured finish to create an irregular, antique wall decoration but can also be used as a preparatory product on which to create splendid decorative effects. BIAMAX 07, thanks to its lager grain size, can also be used as a white or coloured finish plaster. BIAMAX has excellent coverage, has good filling qualities, is non in-flammable and is friendly to both humans and the environment. Decoration for interior walls. Surface Preparation Clean the surface to be decorated removing any loose or flaking material. On old and crumbling surfaces, it is recommended to apply a coat of NEOFIX by OIKOS. On surface that are in good condition, proceed to apply a coat of the primer IL PRIMER by OIKOS. Wait at least 8 hours before applying finishing products. Application Method Antique effect: using a brush, apply a coat of BIAMAX, diluted 10% - 15% with drinkable water, crossing over the brush strokes. Plaster type finish: Using an inox steel trowel, apply 2 even coats of BIAMAX 07, leaving 7 e 8 hours between coats. Before the second coat dries, proceed to smooth over the surface using the plastic trowel in circular movements.
