Nuovocorso has developed an innovative production process for porcelain stoneware, enhancing the raw extrusion technology. This process results in extruded porcelain tiles that combine exceptional strength and flexibility, ensuring easy and safe installation, even in large formats.
The tiles are available in a size of 20x180 cm (8”x71”) with a thickness of 10mm (0.39”). They come in various colors, including Beige and Grey, and are designed for both floor and wall applications.
- Elasticity and Flexibility: The use of high plasticity clay and cold extrusion process gives the tiles unique flexibility and elasticity.
- Frostproofness and Low Absorbency: The firing process ensures resistance to water and frost, with low absorbency and superior mechanical resistance.
- Rectification and Calibration: The tiles are precisely rectified and calibrated, allowing for flexible installation options, including joint-free laying.
- Dimensions and Flatness: Conform to UNI EN ISO 10545-2 standards.
- Water Absorption: ≤ 0.5% as per UNI EN ISO 10545-3.
- Breaking Strength: ≥ 1300 N for thickness ≥ 7.5 mm, according to UNI EN ISO 10545-4.
- Resistance to Thermal Shock and Frost: Compliant with UNI EN ISO 10545-9 and 10545-12.
- Stain Resistance: Minimum class 3 as per UNI EN ISO 10545-14.
- Surface Hardness: Mohs scale 5-8.
The tiles are suitable for heavy traffic areas, outdoor use, and are frost resistant. They are also appropriate for 50% laying patterns.
