Chemical Composition According to EN 573 Part 3 Due to further developments within the production process, the new SSL BF has been created with a distinctive surface structure in appearance and touch, compared to the conventional SSL. An exclusive brushed appearance emerges from the special surface finish during the rolling process. This new product, already anodised and ready for the processing, increases the Novelis production range of coil-anodised products. It can also be supplied without anodising and suitable for batch anodising. 1. General Product Properties • SSL BF stands for a decorative surface which imitates a stainless steel brushed finish • Upon anodising the aluminium takes on a highly weather and corrosion resistant protective layer • The established Novelis Anodising Quality is used as the base material • The excellent aluminium characteristics combined with an aesthetical anti-fingerprint surface offer a large variety of applications • Non-combustible according to DIN 4102 respectively 96/603/EG, classification into the best fire protection class Sheet thickness: 0.5 to 3.0 mm (Temper H14) Strength Values Typical strength values (no warranty)

The installation of sheets cut in the longitudinal direction (rolling direction) can lead to visually perceptible color differences on a facade. The sheets should therefore be installed edge to edge, taking in consideration the rolling direction. The rolling direction can be identified by the protective film.
