Technical data sheet - Scheda tecnica - Fiche tecnique - Karta danych technicznych TILE ADHESIVES COLLANTI PER PIASTRELLE COLLES POUR CARRELAGES KLEJE DO PŁYTEK BETON PUR Two-Component Epoxy and Polyurethane Tile Adhesive CE EN 12004 - R2 Description BETON PUR is a tile adhesive formulated into two separate components to be mixed immediately before use to obtain an adhesive suitable for bonding tiles of all kinds on every type of surface. BETON PUR outstanding adhesion properties are complemented by the fact that it gives rise to a waterproof adhesive layer. Therefore, BETON PUR can be used both as a waterproofing liquid membrane layer and an adhesive at the same time. BETON PUR is a reactive (R), improved (2) adhesive highly suited for installing tiles outdoors, class R2 according to the standard EN 12004. Where to Use BETON PUR is the most suitable adhesive for tile installations when an extremely high flexibility is required together with a high anchoring capacity. Types of Substrates It can be used both as interior and exterior tile adhesive and is compatible with virtually all existing building surfaces, such as: − cement-based screeds and plasters; − precast and cast-in situ concrete; − wood, metal, PVC; − plaster, plasterboard, anhydrite; − Substrates made of resin or natural stone, etc..; − surfaces subjected to vibrations. Types of tiles: − single-and double-fired ceramic tiles; − stoneware and clinker tiles; − earthen tiles and fibreglass mesh mounted ceramic mosaics; − reconstituted stone; − natural stone. Application Substrate Preparation − on all substrates perform a thorough cleaning with the utmost care, eliminating all loose parts, oils, grease, paint and any other thing could prevent a proper adhesion of the adhesive; − ensure that substrates do not suffer from rising damp phenomena; − reinforce all existing chalking surfaces with NORPHEN SW SOLID appropriately diluted with water; − to smooth the interior or exterior surfaces of walls and floors, use GROVE RASANTE anchored to the bottom with GROVE PRIMER. − to plaster, plasterboard and anhydrite apply a coat of NORPHEN SW SOLID diluted 4 ÷5-fold with water. Mixture Preparation − pour BETON PUR component B into component A ensuring to remove all the hardener (component B) from the pot; − mix with a low speed mixer (500÷600 rpm) until the mixture is uniform in colour. Instant setting. No need to wait, after mixing, before using the glue. Note: In case of partial use of the package, components should be weighed according to the proper ratio: incorrect mixing ratio, can hinder the product hardening. How to lay the Mixture Depending on the type of tile and the type of substrate an appropriate notched trowel shall be chosen.
