Product Overview:
No Fault Safety Tile offers 2’ x 2’ playground safety tiles suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications. These tiles are ASTM and ADA approved and feature a unique 4-Corner Lock design for rooftop applications. They are available in Black, Chrome, Green, and Terra Cotta colors and can be shipped according to customer schedules.

Specifications:

Physical Specification: The tiles have a high-density water-permeable surface with tapered conical support legs, surface expansion joints, and perimeter adhesion bars to enhance shock attenuation, walkability, installation ease, and water drainage.
Component Specification: Made from high-quality rubber granules bound with a wear and weather-resistant polyurethane binder. The binder uses MDI isocyanate and polyether polyols, avoiding TDI isocyanate and heavy metal catalysts. Coloring pigments are inorganic oxides, excluding cadmium-based pigments.

Dimensions and Performance:

Available in 2 1/4" and 3 3/4" thicknesses, both measuring 24"x24" with a slight tolerance.
Wear surface density is 50.0 lbs./cu.ft. for 2 1/4" and 48.0 lbs./cu.ft. for 3 3/4".
Void volume is 42% minimum for 2 1/4" and 50% minimum for 3 3/4".
Weight is 5.43 lbs./sq. ft. for 2 1/4" and 7.58 lbs./sq. ft. for 3 3/4".
Critical height performance meets CPSC and ASTM F-1292-99 standards with less than 200 G-max and 1000 HIC across various temperatures.

Testing and Performance:

Plant Control Testing: Tensile strength is 1.43 N/mm2, and elongation at break is 118%.
Characteristic Testing: Tear resistance is 13.13 kN/m, abrasion testing shows 0.20 mg/revolution, and coefficient of friction varies with conditions.
Permeability: Water permeability is 0.045 cm/sec.
Accelerated Aging: Shows 105% tensile retention and 87% elongation retention after 2000 hours of Xenon Arc exposure.
Flammability: Passed ASTM D-2859-96 Burning Pill Test.
Fungal Resistance: Tested according to ASTM G21-96, showing results after 28 and 60 days.
