MATAR Introduction The distinctive feature of the Matar system, designed by Makio Hasuike, is the square-shaped light fixture, extremely flat (which on request can be equipped with LED lights on its boundary) which the designer has combined with posts of various heights, angles and shapes. The thin and elegant rods, present in some versions of the system, are another important feature: they capture the imagination and are reminiscent of a desk lamp. Up to two units per lighting point can be installed on the system and can be combined differently in terms of tops and arms. We expect to combine it with an urban décor series, currently being designed. Materials. The posts are entirely made of steel, while the light fixtures are of die cast aluminum. Finishes. The standard colour is black. The posts are painted with a highly eco-friendly, water-based process.
