Description: ProForm® Tinted-Lite Joint Compound is a vinyl-based, ready-mix lightweight joint compound, approximately 30% lighter than conventional mixes. It is designed for finishing gypsum board joints, spotting fasteners, and finishing corner beads. The compound is GREENGUARD Indoor Air Quality Certified®.
Advantages: The product offers reduced shrinkage (up to 33% less), superior finish with less pocking, easier application, excellent sanding characteristics, and low VOC content (<2 grams/liter).
Limitations: Use sandpaper no coarser than 150 grit. Protect from freezing, extreme heat, and direct sunlight. Avoid over-thinning and excessive mixing with an electric drill.
Storage: Store away from extreme temperatures to prevent accelerated aging. The storage life is up to 9 months under good conditions.
Installation Recommendations: Mix lightly before use. Apply a thin layer over joints, embed tape, and cover with compound. Allow each coat to dry thoroughly before applying the next. Ensure adequate ventilation and maintain a minimum temperature of 50°F (10°C) during application.
Decoration: Ensure surfaces are dry and dust-free before applying paint or wall coverings. Use a high-quality, flat latex primer.
