Description
High Strength™ BRAND Ceiling Board is a specialty gypsum board designed for ceilings with increased uniformity and integrity, offering sag resistance equivalent to 5/8" Type X wallboard. It is suitable for ceilings with framing spaced up to 24" o.c. and compatible with water-based textures like ProForm® BRAND Spray Quick.

Limitations

• Insulation should not exceed 2.2 lbs./sq. ft.
• Adequate ventilation is necessary.

Technical Data
Manufactured by National Gypsum Company, the product meets ASTM C 1395/C 1396 and Federal Specification SS-L-30D Type III, Grade R, Class 1. It complies with ICC ES Legacy Report NER-496 and ICBO ER-5733. The board has a thickness of 1/2" (12.7 mm), width of 4' (1219 mm), and length of 6' (1829 mm) with tapered edges.
