Firmada por Ron Arad, Do-Lo-Rez es la unión de dos piezas, alfombra y sofá, entendida como un único elemento. Creados de forma conjunta, construyen un proyecto insólito que acerca el mundo virtual al real. Su nombre surge de la expresión “do low resolution” y la idea le sobrevino viendo una imagen pixelada en baja resolución, que ha materializado mediante una superficie tridimensional. La alfombra se confecciona enrasando cada cuadrado a una altura diferente de su contiguo. Por otro lado, su extraordinario formato comporta múltiples vértices que parecen finales de un puzzle inacabado. Este juego de volúmenes y niveles da rienda suelta a la customización. Created jointly, they form an unusual project that brings the virtual world closer to the real world. Its name comes from the expression “do low resolution”.
