45 KILO was founded in 2007 by Philipp Schöpfer & Daniel Klapsing during their studies at Bauhaus—University Weimar. Their work is focused on furniture and interior design and often combines industrialized production processes and materials with crafts in a very reduced and simple visual language. 45 KILO works both as a design studio and as a producer of custom made furniture and series of products of their own designs. The products catalogue gives an overview of the designs that are being produced by the studio.
