Product Description
DensDeck StormX Prime Roof Board is a reinforced gypsum cover board with a moisture-resistant core and coated glass mat facers. It is highly durable and approved for use in assemblies meeting FM's Very Severe Hail (VSH) Classification.

Typical Physical Properties
The board is 5/8" thick, available in 4'x4' and 4'x8' panels, with a nominal weight of 3.0 lbs./sq. ft. It features a fiberglass mat with a non-asphaltic coating, flexural strength of 100 lbf., and a compressive strength of 900 psi. It has a high mold resistance score of 10.

Benefits
Provides protection from foot traffic, wind, and hail. It is the first gypsum cover board to meet FM VSH classification under single-ply membranes and is approved as a thermal barrier over various roof decks. It meets UL 790 Class A and FM Class 1 approvals.

Packaging
Panels are packaged for protection during transit, with specific dimensions and weights for 4'x4' and 4'x8' panels.

Storage
Boards must be stored at least 4" above ground and covered with a weatherproof covering. They must remain dry and be installed only as much as can be covered the same day.

Code Approvals/Compliance
Complies with ASTM C1177, ANSI/UL 790, ULC-CAN S114, UL 1256, and FM Class 1 standards.

Installation Instructions
Can be secured with Helix Max Adhesive, fastened, or mopped with hot asphalt. Specific instructions include staggering joints and using approved fasteners.

Precautions
Allow solvent-based adhesives to flash off. Not recommended for vertical parapet applications or as an underlayment in ballasted systems.
