DAS DESIGN TEAM PROF. DIETER ZIMMER (* 1944) ist Architekt und Industriedesigner. Er lehrte von 1982 bis 2009 an der Muthesius Hochschule in Kiel. Zusätzlich ist er seit 1997 bis heute an der China Academy of Art in Hangzhou als Gastprofessor tätig. Zimmer war unter anderem Gründungsbeirat des Shanghai Institute of Design (SID), mehr als zwanzig Jahre Mitherausgeber des „international magazine of design, md“, und über mehrere Jahre hinweg Mitglied der DAADAuswahlkommission in Bonn, sowie mehr als 60 Mal Juror unterschiedlicher Designjurys.
