design Natasa Perkovic ELLE Chair I closed my eyes and imagined a chair that personifies beauty. I modeled a chair whose form strictly followed function and then slowly began subtracting material and smoothing out the edges. I gradually arrived at a sleek solid wood chair that used minimal amounts of material. It still met the basic function of seating whilst retaining comfort and ergonomics.

Natasa Perkovic Its curved edges invite family and friends to gather around and bind their hearts together. Its carefully modeled yet downplayed aesthetic ensures complementarity with different chairs. Elle is produced using five-axis CNC milling, classical carpentry and hand-finishing techniques. It is engineered to use a minimal amount of solid wood material and joinery so as to obtain optimal structural strength. Her sustainability lies in her timeless beauty and usability.
