SPEED REGULATORS XSR SERIES OVERVIEW TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS OVERVIEW: The XSR series of electronic speed regulators offer an IP 55 protection level and are made using a system that partialises the voltage using thyristors. The speed variation is therefore obtained by varying the power supply voltage on the motor, resulting in a synchronous reduction in the speed on the rotor. This type of drive can only be applied to motors that constantly provide a resistant torque, such as fans, extractors, pumps, etc. This means that the construction of the regulator could be very simple and basic, which translates into maximum reliability and low cost. Specific characteristics include: the possibility of continually varying the speed of a motor between about 30 and 100 % of the speed indicated on the plate, using an external manual control; regulation of the minimum speed; single-phase models with maximum currents in continuous service of 4-6-12-16 A, and three-phase models with maximum currents of 6-10-16 A (stator windings connected in a star). These are made of plastic and are intended for wall mounting (some models for building in as well). Various options are available: double switch for controlling outside lights, output contacts with alarms, controls for other loads, controls for other regulators, possibility of controls with input signals such as voltages, currents, heat sensors, etc. and the possibility of customising all models. TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS: Protection type F 10, 12 and 15 A fuses A Automatic 16 A tripswitch S Adjustable motor protection (+ automatic 40 A tripswitch)
