#BWD BLOCK WIND DEVICE The bottom bar blocking device stems from the need to perform two important functions. The first is to prevent the system from being damaged by the wind action, the second is to improve the acoustic comfort especially when the wind gusts, even if quite moderate, are discontinuous. The wind action could lead the external blinds with cable guides to a “vacuum system”. The stonger is the wind, the more the fabric swells lifting the bottom bar up even of several centimeters.
