Introduction
Jean-Philippe Nuel, an architect from a family passionate about design, graduated from the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris. He gained recognition early in his career by winning several competitions, including one judged by Kenzo Tange.
Career Development
Before turning 30, Nuel designed a hotel in Paris, focusing on both architecture and interior decoration, which set the direction for his future work. He subsequently worked on boutique hotels in Paris and other parts of France, such as Le Lavoisier, Le Général, Le Duo, Le Cinq Codet, Le Canberra in Cannes, Avenue Lodge in Val d’Isère, Le Grand Balcon in Toulouse, and Jiva Hill Park Hotel near Geneva.
International Projects
Major hotel chains like Accor, Club Med, Hilton, Radisson, Starwood, Marriott, and IHG have commissioned Nuel for interior decoration projects worldwide, including in Japan, China, India, Malta, and Morocco. His name is now synonymous with luxury interior design in the hotel industry.
