We use all resources efciently and we are committed to providing sustainable products to the global hospitality industry. Only CFC/HCFC free materials are used in the manufacturing process and in 2001 we voluntarily began using cyclopentane insulation in our minibars. As a service to our client hotels, we dispose and recycle aged equipment professionally. Our products are manufactured according to ISO 14001 and ISO 9001:2000 standards and are CE, FCC, ETL, UL/CSA certied and ROHS and WEEE compliant. ENERGY USAGE Absorption vs. Compressor Energy consumption of an absorption cooler is initially higher than a compressor, however, over its useful life (12–15 years), an absorption cooler actually uses less energy than a compressor cooler which increases its energy consumption every year OUR TECHNOLOGY - CFC / HCFC free - The expected lifespan of an absorption unit is 12–15 yrs. - No moving parts make our minibars maintenance free - The use of fuzzy logic-controlled thermostats dynamically optimizes energy consumption RECYCLING & DISPOSAL - Our minibars are WEEE compliant and fully recyclable - All raw materials comply with ROHS regulations - Disposal procedures strictly follow industry guidelines - We are constantly developing and testing new technologies to improve energy consumption and environmental friendliness
