Metawell® - different thicknesses / unterschiedliche Materialstärken Metawell® Metawell® is a patented lightweight aluminium sandwich panel. It consists of two aluminium sheets with a corrugated aluminium core. The layers are glued together in a continuous manufacturing process. The aluminium is primered with a special coating, which guarantees a durable adhesive compound and a good corrosion protection. The lightweight and rigid panels enable high weight savings, especially in large formats. Advantages at a glance: • • • • • • • • • • lightweight aluminium panel with 2 cover sheets and a...

Metawell® Aluflex - different thicknesses / unterschiedliche Materialstärken Metawell® Aluflex Metawell® Aluflex is a material with rigidity levels that depend strongly on the direction. The corrugated sheet is bonded to only one aluminium cover sheet. This structure enables easy 2D-forming and provides a high rigidity to curved lightweight elements (e. g. curved ceilings or columns). Advantages at a glance: • • • • • lightweight aluminium panel, where a cover sheet is connected to a corrugated aluminium sheet in a continuous manufacturing process material with highly anisotropic stiffness,...

Metawall® Advantages at a glance: Vorteile auf einen Blick: weight savings thanks to lightweight construction economical, due to larger spans and less substructure for big facade elements various colours available (custom designs, decors, gloss, metallic colours and colours acc. to RAL, NCS, BS and Pantone) non-visible fixing methods sustainable, thanks to raw material savings and full recyclability (without material separation) excellent corrosion protection (also of the core) EPDs acc. DIN EN ISO 14025 Type III and EN 15804 Depending on the required weight and fire classification,...

In construction the term "rear-ventilated facade" describes a sophisticated technique to give facades an appearance that is characterized by individuality, high quality and longevity. Advantages at a glance: • components of insulation (heat, cold, fire protection) and cladding (weather protection) are structurally separated from each other • in comparison to heat insulation systems the higher construction costs are amortized during the period of use, since the costs for cleaning and maintenance are lower • damage can usually be repaired by replacing the individual elements. It is not...

The term radiant ceiling refers to a suspended - in most cases also sound-absorbing - ceiling, which can heat and cool a room. In the heating process warm water flows through the copper pipes on the backside of the panel. In the cooling phase, the Metawell® ceiling element absorbs the heat radiation of the room. Thereby the floor, walls and furniture cool down and as a result the room temperature drops. Advantages at a glance: Economics • heating and cooling with one system • lower energy consumption, since the perceived room temperature can be set 1-2 °C lower • less space in the ceiling...
