Roel Vandebeek All-round designer Roel Vandebeek (b. 1970) studied Media, Arts and Design in Genk. In late 1996, he set up his own design studio, Beek Design. Ever since then, he has carried out assignments for both Belgian and international companies in a wide range of sectors. His designs are original as well as timeless and—even though they have been designed with the utmost care—they often include just a touch of humour. On legs The Contour is available in several different styles. However, the ‘original version’, will always remain the four-legged model. The symbiosis between the seat shell and base ensures that the design has plenty of character.
