The common theme of Materia's new range for 2013 is the idea of a dynamic meeting place furnished according to the users' specific requirements. "We are showcasing a range of really good, powerful products designed to create inspiring and effective meetings between people," says Thomas Johannesson, CEO at Materia. Materia’s new range for 2013, which will be presented at the Stockholm Furniture Fair on 5–9 February, includes the following products. MIMIC - MATERIA NEWCOMER 2013 Sitting furniture whose outstanding feature is that it shapes itself according to your body weight and heat. The unique design and the use of the exclusive material ’memory foam’ create an exciting tactile experience. Design: Nathalie Adenling STACK bar stool The Stack bar stool has the same outstanding design as the Stack chair. The seat shell in injection-moulded plastic is extremely durable and the sled base frame makes the bar stool stable and easy to stack. The seats can be padded for extra comfort. Design: Fredrik Mattson STACK chair/armchair A flexible range of chairs with minimalistic shape and weight. The chairs can be stacked tightly or connected side by side. New for 2013 is Stack with a wooden shell in oak veneer, birch veneer and whitestained ash veneer.
