The actual aim of Newcomer is to question, think in new ways and make smart designs. And this is what Kaja Solgaard Dahl has done. Kaja is a trained designer at Beckmans in Stockholm and has a master´s degree in Design for Luxury and Craftsmanship from ECAL in Lausanne, Switzerland. Her design is based on artistic research with the aim of creating furniture which pushes boundaries. With her newly established studio, AtelierKajaDahl, she is focusing on collaborations with companies and creators who share her passion for characteristic furniture, products and concepts based on a good story....

The piece of furniture is not finished in producing the sketch. It has to be converted into a commercial product adapted for large scale production.
