The Mater Shell Lounge Chair has been updated with a new, softer leather upholstery designed by Michael Dreeben. This version features a collaboration with Sorensen Leathers, a renowned Danish leather supplier, enhancing the chair's softness and tactility.
The chair is available in two types of leather: a chrome-free aniline leather in anthrazit black and rust, which develops a patinated look over time, and a pigmented leather in cognac, black, or brandy, known for its durability and stain resistance. The seating comfort is enhanced by a layer of foam.
The frame is made from solid FSC certified oak, available in three water-based stains: soaped, sirka grey, and black. The chair is available for the contract market with a minimum purchase of 12 pieces.
Item numbers are provided for different combinations of leather and frame finishes, including lacquered oak, sirka grey, and black oak frames.

The Mater Shell Lounge Chair is now introduced with a new and softer leather upholstery version of the Mater Shell Chair designed by Michael Dreeben. The collaboration with the most recognised Danish leather supplier, Sorensen Leathers, is bringing a new softness and tactility to the Mater collection. Available in two leathers; a chrome-free aniline leather in an anthrazit black and rust colour giving the material a beautiful and patinated look over time, and a cognac, black or brandy coloured pigmented leather that is durable, easy to maintain and resists stains. A layer of foam is making the seating of the chair a more comfortable and soft experience. The frame is crafted in solid FSC certified oak with a choice of three different water-based stains; soaped, sirka grey and a black stain.
