Imago Wall Hangers
Imago is a collection of sculptural round wall hangers designed by the Danish design studio PEDERJESSEN for Mater. The collection is inspired by the metamorphosis stage of anthropods, such as butterflies, and is available in three different sizes.
The wall hangers are constructed from upcycled cast iron sourced from old engines and other waste materials. An upholstered version is available, featuring wood covered with leather off cuts from Sorensen Leather, offered in a limited edition with three shades of brown.

The design includes a standard hanger for wall mounting, enhancing its functionality and ease of installation.

Imago is a new collection of accessories from Mater, designed by Danish design studio, PEDERJESSEN. Imago is a collection of sculptural round wall hangers in three different sizes. Inspired by the name and shape in which anthropods, such as butterflies, take on during their final metamorphosis from cocoon to winged creature. The wall hangers are available in three sizes, constructed from upcycled cast iron derived from old engines and other cast iron waste. A leather upholstery over wood version is also available in a ‘designers choice’ limited edition, crafted from leather off cuts from Sorensen Leather.
