The Scandi-Asian Fusion Continues Launch beginning of 2017 Asian and Scandinavian design meet in Massproductions series Icha, a gracious furniture family with a slender yet stabile construction. Icha was first launched in 2014 as a bar stool and got its name and inspiration from the Japanese restaurant Icha Icha, to which the first designs were made. Three tables are now launched in the same collection, and like the first products, the tables are inspired from Asian and Scandinavian design traditions. Design The tactile tables are designed in warm natural materials. Legs and table construction in wood, combined with a linoleum tabletop in complementing colors create a simplistic and harmonic table. “We have a modern design language but are always inspired by the world around us. Japanese culture is a returning source of inspiration for us at Massproductions. The result when Japanese and Scandinavian design tradition meet is very exiting”, explains Chris Martin. The tables are available in two rectangular- and one round version. Three sizes and shapes that fit well together with Massproductions’ other series. The tables come in four color combinations with Black Stained Oak, Walnut Stained Beech, Natural Oak, and White Oiled Oak.
