Overview: The document outlines Marset's 2010/11 lighting collection, highlighting innovation and research. The collection focuses on discovering new functionalities through technical precision and creativity, emphasizing authenticity, simplicity, and decorative integration.
Scantling: Designed by Mathias Hahn, this range combines geometric shapes with wood and metal, offering a distinct personality. The
lamp's movements are facilitated by arms and hinges without visible springs or counterweights, featuring a lacquered iron stem and base, and a solid oak arm with an aluminum shade.
Continua: Created by Christophe Mathieu, this modular system generates longitudinal light strips, integrating into various environments. It features a transparent polycarbonate profile for interchangeable diffusers, available in five lengths, suitable for continuous lighting or illuminated signs, with an IP44 version for bathrooms.
Plaff-On: Designed by Joan Gaspar, this ceiling lamp offers simplicity and multiple lighting effects. Its structure creates a luminous halo, with an aluminum ring acting as a reflector for direct light. Available in three diameters, it can also be used as a wall fixture.
Soho: Also by Joan Gaspar, Soho pays homage to traditional market lamps, made from rotary molded polyethylene, available in large sizes for spacious areas. The methacrylate diffuser ensures even light distribution, with an outdoor model for open-air settings.
Mercer: Designed by Javier M. Borrás & Joan Gaspar, Mercer features a cotton shade within a transparent blown glass structure, offering a warm, reflective glow.
Discocó: Created by Christophe Mathieu, this range features 35 lacquered ABS disks reflecting light vibrantly, with a chromed sphere adding glittering reflections. Available in various sizes and colors, it provides both direct and diffused lighting.
Specifications and Standards: All products comply with European safety and electromagnetism standards, specifically EN 60598-1 and EN 60598-2-1, and are CE marked. Reinforced insulation is used, excluding earthing.
