About our Rugs In 2022 Marqqa launches its Rug Collection. Our rugs intend to continue our mission to create customizable products that adapt to different styles, needs and spaces. To create this collection, we were inspired by the simplest geometric shapes: rectangle, circle, square, oval and triangle. From the combination of these shapes and using different scales, patterns and textures, we designed an elegant and timeless collection.

Technique & Materials Marqqa rugs are hand-tufted. This technique allows great freedom in the choice of shapes and patterns. Initially, the work is done by our artisans with the help of a manual tufting gun, then our handcrafters adjust the height of the pile and shape the textured rugs using a special scissor. The entire process is manual and requires immense dedication. As a result, each rug is unique and exclusive. Our rugs are made from New Zealand wool. Finishes & Colors Marqqa rugs have two types of pile: cut or loop pile. LOOP PILE In some models it is also possible to give the rug a more classic finish by adding a fringe. Available in a range of 12 different colors, these were carefully chosen to combine harmoniously with each other as well as with the finishes of our furniture collection – living.
