Product catalog summary
Technical Sheet Overview
This document provides detailed information on a quick-setting, high-performance self-levelling floor mortar designed for interior use. It includes specifications, application procedures, and technical characteristics.

Specifications
  • Fields of Use: Suitable for interior applications with a thickness of 5 to 7 mm in a single pass. For exterior use, consult MA's advisors.
  • Composition: Cement- and polymer-based single-component smooth levelling coat.
  • Properties: Self-levelling, extremely fluid, quick drying (walkable after 3-4 hours), resistant to frost/thaw, and formaldehyde-free.
  • Packaging: Available in 20 kg buckets with additives and colouring agents, except for the shade Karonga, which is ready to use.

Application Procedures
  • Substrate Preparation: Ensure the substrate is clean, sound, dry, and cohesive. Mechanical preparation is required, and substrates should not have more than a 0.5% slope.
  • Mixing Ratio: 4.2 kg of water per 20 kg of mortar. Do not exceed the water proportion.
  • Application Conditions: Temperature between 8°C and 30°C, relative humidity < 75%. Protect from humidity for at least 24 hours.
  • Application Method: Mix components at low speed, let rest, then pour and spread evenly.

Technical Characteristics
  • Appearance: Powder in pot; may show color differences when applied.
  • Density: Approximately 2 kg/L.
  • Mechanical Performance: Compression resistance >40 N/mm², bond strength 2.2 N/mm², bending resistance >10 N/mm².

Storage and Safety
  • Shelf Life: Nine months in unopened packaging, stored between +5° and 30°C.
  • Safety: Refer to the safety data sheet for additional information.

Quick-setting, high-performance self-levelling floor mortar for interior use-1

Technical sheet - Created on 22/07/2014 Updated on 17/03/2015 Quick-setting, high-performance self-levelling floor mortar for interior use Presentation Fields of use: Versatile smooth floor mortar, 5 to 7 mm in a single pass. Can be used inside. Consult our MA's advisors for all outside applications. If necessary, apply the mineral impregnation and its MA's thinner (see technical sheet) for a coloured finish whilst maintaining the mineral appearance of the coating. Use the MA's finishes to protect the high-performance self-levelling floor mortar; consult our advisors. Composition: Cement- and polymer-based single-component smooth levelling coat. Properties: Self-levelling and extremely fluid Product ready to use and easy to apply Little shrinkage Quick drying: can be walked on after 3-4 hours Good resistance to frost/thaw Without formaldehyde Packaging: Buckets of 20 kg (powder) + Additives and colouring agents (liquids) except for the shade Karonga which is ready to use. Application Substrate and substrate preparation: The substrate must be clean, sound, dry and cohesive (1.5 MPa minimum traction, at least 25 MPa compression resistance) and have been prepared mechanically by shot blasting or smoothing, with all friable sections removed and free of any product likely to be detrimental to the grip. Mortars and concretes must be have been poured for at least 28 days. Given the variety and heterogeneity of certain substrates, it is advisable to apply MA's EPX2 primer before pouring the high-performance self-levelling compound (see MA's EPX2 primer technical sheet). Do not apply to substrates with more than 0.5% slope. Otherwise, plan for prior levelling. Preparation: Mixing ratio: 4.2 kg water per kit of 20 kg mortar. Adjustment of the water proportion on glass plate: Cylinder as per EN 12706:2000 Internal diameter: 30 mm Height: 50 mm Spread: 125 mm – 135 mm Cone as per ASTM C 230-90/EN 1015-3 Upper internal diameter: 70 mm Lower internal diameter: 100 mm Height: 60 mm Spread: 345 mm – 365 mm Do not exceed the proportion of water. 1

Application conditions: Temperature between 8°C and 30°C and relative humidity < 75%. Protect from any contact with humidity, condensation and water for at least 24 hours. Apply when the temperature is dropping to avoid any risk of the substrate reheating that could cause bubbling (gaseous exchanges) as the mortar sets. Application method: Weigh 4.2 kg water in a clean receptacle. Add all colouring agents and additives to the water (except for the shade Karonga that is already ready to use). Rinse the pot containing these products carefully otherwise the shade will be altered. Then add 1 full...
