MA’s mineral expressive paint and lasure Definition Siloxane-based paint or lasure with a matt mineral appearance in aqueous phase for decorating inside and outside walls. The product is coloured with mineral pigments and is available as lasure or paint depending on the requirement. Properties Matt mineral appearance. UV resistance (mineral pigments). Excellent hydrophobic capacity and protection against surface water. Steam permeability. Application Stir the product well before and during application. Apply in 2 layers using a roller or brush. On rough and coated concrete or on old painted (paintwork not scaling) or unpainted substrates. Substrates must be sound, clean and dry. Used on new or old substrates. Preparations are made according to usual practice. For lasure, if the substrate is heterogeneous, apply the mineral paint opacifying primer (white or grey). On plaster or porous substrates, apply our white mural acrylic primer. The product is diluted with water. The material is cleaned with water. Application conditions Ambient and substrate temperature above 5 °C and below 35 °C. Application impossible in high wind conditions or in direct sunlight. Appearance Mineral matt and effects depending on the tools used. Output 5 to 7 m2 per litre and per layer, but variable according to surface and the desired appearance. Drying One hour, and re-coverable in 24 hours (at 20 °C). Maintenance Cleaning with water. Dry extract 52 % in volume. Packaging 1, 5 and 10 litres. Use gloves/The final appearance and homogeneity of the colour depend on the regularity of the substrate and mixing as well as the implementation conditions.
