ULTRACOAT OIL-1

Natural drying oil-based resin used to treat wooden floors with oil-based finishing products WHERE TO USE Protective treatment of internal parquet floors in residential environments. TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS Ultracoat Oil is a natural solvent-free drying oil for treating wooden floors. Ultracoat Oil leaves the floor with a warm, rustic effect and also brings out the natural beauty of the veins in the wood. RECOMMENDATIONS • Do not use Ultracoat Oil at temperatures lower than +10°C. • Do not apply on external surfaces. • Use only clean containers and tools. • Environmental conditions and residual humidity in the wood when it is laid must conform to current norms and standards. • Do not put leftover quantities of the product back into its original container. APPLICATION PROCEDURE Preparation of the substrate Sand the floor with large and medium-grained sandpaper, and vacuum off all dust. Fill cracks and defects with Ultracoat Acqua Plus. After approximately 1 hour carefully sand the floor. Use 120 grade sandpaper for the final pass and then remove all traces of dust. Application Ultracoat Oil is ready for use. Shake well before use. Apply Ultracoat Oil in a single coat using Ultracoat Roller or Ultracoat Steel Spatula. On particularly absorbent wooden surfaces apply a second coat after approximately 20 minutes, and in all cases before the first coat dries. Within 60 minutes of applying the product remove excess oil with a cotton rag with the aid of a rotating head fitted with a white Ultracoat Pad. After 16 hours, pass over the surface of the parquet with a rotating head fitted with a black Ultracoat Pad. Then apply two coats of Ultracoat Oil Care 30 minutes apart using a wax spreader or a rotating head fitted with a white Ultracoat Pad and a cotton rag. Cleaning Tools and residues of Ultracoat Oil may be cleaned with water while the product is still fresh. CONSUMPTION Absorbent floors: approx. 150 g/m2. Low-absorbency floors: approx. 70 g/m2. PACKAGING 2.5 litre canisters.
