Desde hace algunos años me pregunto si existe una vía típicamente italiana para desarrollar un proyecto de diseño y producirlo aquí en Italia, en un mundo globalizado, en el que es cada vez más evidente que se están reduciendo las diferencias entre las producciones de los distintos países. A mi parecer, existe. Es necesario trabajar con tesón hasta llegar a descubrirla. Permítanme la metáfora: encontrar el modo es como encontrar la planta que sabe crecer bien, desarrollarse bien, dar óptimos frutos en Italia y no sabe crecer igualmente bien, desarrollarse bien y dar sus frutos en otros climas....

Die Mailänder Möbelmesse 2014 steht vor der Tür und Magis hat bedeutende Neuheiten vorzustellen: die Entwicklung von Troy von Marcel Wanders; die Entwicklung von Cyborg von Marcel Wanders; die Entwicklung von Piña von Jaime Hayón; ein sehr interessanter Hocker, der von Anderssen & Voll entworfen wurde; dann Kyudo, ein neuer, experimenteller CantileverStuhl von Konstantin Grcic, bei dem die Seitenteile aus einem gebogenen Band bestehen, das sich abwechselnd aus Holzund Kohlensto faser-Folien zusammensetzt. Kohlensto faser wurde gewählt, um ein Prol des minimalistischen, aber schlanken Seitenteils...
