Wall bearings prevent the flanking transmission of footstep noise through the wall base. Principle LASTO®WALL G are manufactured from styrene butadiene rubber (SBR) granulate. Our special production process generates permanently elastic LASTO®WALL G, whose good acoustic characteristics and defined spring compression perform well in both low and high load areas. The LASTO®WALL G has been developed to effectively interrupt the transmission of footstep noise vertically through the masonry. If wall bearings are used consistently throughout a building, and other sound transmission vectors are eliminated, this can significantly improve the quality of living conditions. LASTO®WALL G can be used when increased sound insulation in a building is desired. This can be the case, for example, in living rooms or bedrooms, meeting rooms and offices. The product is suitable for acoustic insulation in load-bearing and non-load-bearing walls. Thanks to its flexibility, which permits slight horizontal deformations and rotations, the wall bearing can also be used as a separator bearing. The rubber granulate has sufficient elasticity to effectively reduce restraint forces.

Acoustic Insulation The technical characteristics of the wall bearings make them unique in terms of acoustic insulation. LASTO®WALL G form an elastic intermediate layer which interrupts the transmission of vibrations caused by impact sound, which would otherwise be transmitted by reverberant construction elements and spread throughout the structure almost without damping.
