The bearing consists of two polyethylene sheets placed loosely one on the other. These sheets have particularly low friction and are additionally treated with silicone grease , g y on the inside, thus achieving incredibly low friction. If the bearing surfaces are very even, a simple double foil unit (Type FOL G) is sufficient. If levelling is required, an elastomer-clad double foil unit (Type FOL GE) must be used.
