The best clays are located in Tuscany, especially in the Sienese territory. In fact, compact, elastic and porous artifacts are born from the Sienese clays, so as to better incorporate the protective waxes inside and be resistant to frost outside. 5

After that, the mixture is poured into wooden moulds, to then be beaten manually, piece by piece, thus giving life to totally natural and breathable products.
Open the catalog to page 6NATURAL DRYING The artifacts are left to rest and dry naturally on the ground for several days. Natural drying makes it possible to exclude the molecular micro-cracks typical of industrial terracotta and guarantees maximum resistance and compactness.

During firing, the flames invade the artifacts, giving the typical chromatic nuances and making each piece unique and inimitable. Furthermore, the slow progression of the flame is the secret of a frost-proof terracotta, resistant over the centuries and with a metallic sound.
