KRC-PLUS application for FREE-COOLING The FREE-COOLING application for the control panel KRC-PLUS means the development of zoning systems to the rationalization of energy use and management of air quality in the full HVAC systems in homes and offices. The use of an outdoor temperature sensor and a CO2 sensor optimize energy consumption and air quality in the installation, significantly reducing the power consumption of air conditioners. • Using fresh air to cool the building It prevents starting the compressor when the outside temperature is adequate to cool the room, taking advantage of free cooling air and significantly reducing power consumption. • Automatic change from free-cooling mode to normal mode The system uses outdoor air or the AHU according to the outdoor temperature. The user should not worry about activating any device. • Management of air quality Using a CO2 sensor (installed in the duct or one of the rooms), the system detects if there is bad air quality and active the intake of fresh air through a heat recovery unit or a cabinet fan. The system automatically returns to normal after the return to air quality.
