Meet lumendrive™ technology What is lumendrive™? Lumendrive powers LEDs with AC voltage, while still allowing full digital dimming and control. By dispensing with a power supply, the technology provides multiple benefits, including greater efficiency, smaller size and a lifetime no longer restricted by third-party components. How does it work? Lumendrive monitors the AC waveform, and turns LEDs on and off as the AC voltage increases and decreases. Thinner. Smaller. Lighter. Just 35mm wide, Lumencove Nano is ideal for applications where space is restricted. By removing the power supply, we have been able to shrink the footprint of the luminaire without sacrificing sustainability or reliability. Competing cove solutions attempt to manage size by embedding power supply electronics on the back of the LED board, which causes thermal and durability issues.
