The majestic staircase The lighting renovatio began with the reshaping of the staircase, the great access to the halls of the Gallery. In this area the light enhances the monumental aspect of the plaster casts of the Laocoonte and of Michelangelo's Pieta, while shadows bring plasticity to the volumes and dramatize fruition.
