“The lamp with shade is a tough typology to reinterpret, so I began the design of Cappuccina with a simple, invisible system of orientation of the shade, that would set it apart from other models. Based only on the balancing of the shade on a glass sphere, without any mechanical attachment, this system is spontaneous, intuitive. The shade slides on the glass sphere with a soft movement, remaining effortlessly in any position. Cappuccina refers to the airy flower, as airy as the light shade in this collection”. EN Cappuccina is a fixture composed of a slender stem and metal base and a spherical light in opaline glass housing an LED module inside, on which the fabric shade is simply rested, not attached: this configuration makes it easy to freely move the shade, aiming light where it is needed. EN The decoration of the fabric, made with digital printing and then bonded to polycarbonate, represents a project in a project. The patterns have been created by the designer herself: a degradé texture with very evocative strokes. Dense in the upper part of the shade, they gradually disperse towards the bottom, creating a delicate nuance in tune with the light projected on the fabric, leaving room for the background color which becomes dominant.
