LP Charisma in its element LP CHARISMA was originally developed specifically for renovation of the soya cake factory on Islands Brygge in Copenhagen. PLH was the architect firm responsible for the renovation, and set new standards for the Danish Health Authority and Danish Medicines Agency in the old high-ceilinged factory rooms. Since then, architects and lighting designers have used LP CHARISMA in a wide range of projects – from airports to restaurants.

Think big LP CHARISMA is designed to light up large spaces. A simple, modern, functional pendant that discreetly, yet distinctively, creates a special atmosphere in the room. Its organic, transparent design makes it suitable for a wide range of architectural contexts – from classic to ultra-modern. LP CHARISMA emits bright downward light, and provides pleasant and attractive room lighting. The fixture’s transparency creates an outer silhouette providing a sense of lightness while the two opal slots give LP Charisma a characteristic identity – both when switched on and off.

PLH Design Jørgen Nyboe and Henning Solfeldt are part of the industrial design team at PLH, which was founded in 1977. Both trained at the Danish Royal Academy of Architecture. Jørgen Nyboe is a partner at PLH, which comprises a number of creative people with an interest in creating spaces and experiences for people in the physical environment. Distinctive LP CHARISMA is a light fixture with a high level of efficiency. The LED delivers 3363 lumen while consuming only 39W, at a pleasant colour temperature of 3,000 K ­ elvin. The efficacy is 86 lm/W. In addition to illuminating large spaces, LP CHARISMA is a distinctive luminaire which helps create the room’s identity, in beautiful harmony with the architecture.
