The pendants distinctive conical shades each have a curved built-in diffusor made of injection moulded PC. This ensures a both attractive and glare-free downward light. Each version of the shade provides its own diffusion of light while the white inner side ensures that its light is reflected flawlessly. A gentle light is also emitted upwards through a uniform, discreet opening in the top of the shades which adds to the perfect ambiance.

Keglen The collaboration between Louis Poulsen and BIG Ideas started with the development of a pendant for the Tirpitz Museum in Blåvand, a building BIG had designed for the Varde Museums. The Tirpitz Museum opened in 2017, and the edgy, galvanised finish of the pendant encapsulates the at once fine and robust architecture of the museum that melts into the dune landscape of West Jutland.
