Product Overview
The Ballerup lighting fixture features a symmetric light distribution directed downwards. It includes a vertical three-layer mouth-blown glass cylinder that provides soft, comfortable lighting on the ceiling and reduces glare for passers-by.

Design and Materials
The fixture is finished in white, powder-coated steel with a white opal glass diffuser. The housing is made of spun steel, and the diffuser is crafted from mouth-blown white opal glass.

Mounting Specifications
The fixture is designed for ceiling mounting with a termination plug of 5x2.5mm². It accommodates ceiling thicknesses from 1 to 45mm and requires a ceiling cut-out of Ø 142mm. Looping is not approved.

Dimensions and Weight
The fixture measures 165 x 140 x 165 mm and weighs a maximum of 1.1 kg.

Protection and Safety
The product has an ingress protection rating of IP20 and electric shock protection class I with grounding.

Light Source and Energy
The Ballerup uses a 16W LED light source with a color temperature of 3000K. It is part of the Ballerup Mini product family and offers variants with different lighting controls, including Dali.

Product Features
The semi-recessed luminaire is available in two dimensions and features a decorative opal glass light distribution part. It is suitable for low ceiling installations and is easy to maintain. The driver is hardwired to the housing in Europe and can be positioned freely near the housing.

US Specific Features
The fixture allows for simple installation into ceilings up to 1” thick, with a rough-in section available separately. It includes mounting brackets with vertical adjustment and a junction box that accommodates through wiring.

Light Characteristics
The light is primarily directed downwards, with part of it distributed through the mouth-blown opal glass, illuminating the ceiling and reducing contrast. It features a high CRI of over 90 and is dimmable.

Design and Construction
Designed by C. J. Nørgaard Pedersen & P. Hougaard Nielsen, the fixture includes a die-cast aluminum housing for effective heat management. The US version includes an electronic constant current driver for 120-277V operation and 0-10V dimming control.
