Werner Löffler, an ergonomic seating optimiser and designer, developed the ERGO TOP technology in collaboration with Munich's Technical University. His passion for seating furniture is evident in the Sammlung Löffler, a collection of over 700 historic chairs displayed in Bavaria since 2010. Fritz Močnik, a designer from Austria, has been working with Löffler since 2008, focusing on ergonomic seating and high-quality design.
The ERGO TOP technology is designed to promote 'Seating that Moves', featuring a fully flexible swivel seat to counteract rigid sitting positions. This technology ensures constant movement, supplying spinal discs with necessary nutrients, and promoting an upright posture without relying on the backrest. It is recommended by the German association of physiotherapists and approved by the LGA Nuremberg.
The Lezgo 2 chair incorporates the patented ERGO TOP technology, offering a fully flexible swivel seat with adjustable depth and suspension. It includes tension adjustment from 45 to 120 kg, a point-synchronised mechanism, and soft twin-wheel castors suitable for all floor types. The chair features a black aluminium X Base with an optional polished finish, multifunctional armrests, and a mesh back with integrated support. The upholstery process uses no glue, and both seat and backrest angles are adjustable and lockable.
The Lezgo 2 chair is available in various color combinations for both backrest and seat upholstery, allowing for customized design. The mesh cover ensures optimal air circulation, providing comfort even in warm environments. The chair dimensions are 650 mm x 650 mm, with a seat height adjustable from 420 to 510 mm.
