Geboren in Österreich, studierte er Möbelbau und Innenarchitektur an der Hochschule für angewandte Kunst in Wien und UmweltManagement in Krems. Er entwickelte unter Max Bill, Johannes Spalt und Anna Praun „neue Möbel“ und gründete 1978 die „Holzwerkstätten in Südkärnten“. Als Produktentwickler im Auftrag namhafter Büromöbelhersteller ist er seit 2008 kreativ für LÖFFLER tätig. Born in Austria, he studied furniture making and interior design at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna and Environmental Management in Krems. He developed “New Furniture” under Max Bill, Johannes Spalt and Anna Praun and in 1978 formed the “Holzwerkstätten in Südkärnten”, a co-oper­ ative for wood workshops in Austria’s South Carinthia region. As a product developer for well-known office furniture manufacturers, he has been working on the creative area for LÖFFLER since 2008. Né en Autriche, il suivit des études d’ameublement et d’architecture d’intérieur à l’Ecole des Arts Appliqués de Vienne, puis de gestion de l’environnement à Krems. Sous la houlette de Max Bill, Johannes Spalt et Anna Praun, il conçut de « nouveaux meubles » et fonda en 1978 les « Holzwerkstätten in Südkärnten », une coopérative regroupant les ateliers du bois de la région autrichienne de la Carinthie du Sud. Chargé de la conception de leurs produits par des fabricants renommés de meubles de bureau, il met sa créativité au service de LÖFFLER depuis 2008. The LÖFFLER COLLECTION at the company’s headquarters in Reichenschwand close to Nuremberg, with its more than 900 items of seating furniture from two centuries, provides a stimulus and source of inspiration for the constant (further) development of the LÖFFLER product line.
