IntroductionWerner Löffler, an expert in ergonomic seating and a passionate collector of seating furniture, developed the ERGO TOP technology in collaboration with the Technical University of Munich. This technology has been incorporated into Löffler swivel chairs for 18 years, promoting movement while sitting. ERGO TOP TechnologyThe ERGO TOP technology is based on the concept of "dynamic sitting" and aims to incorporate as many dynamic elements as possible into the chair. It counteracts static sitting with a fully movable seat surface, ensuring that the intervertebral discs are continuously nourished and remain elastic. This promotes an ergonomic sitting posture where the pelvis tilts forward automatically, maintaining an upright posture even without backrest contact. The result is a strong, well-trained back. The IGR (Interest Group of Back School Teachers) fully recommends dynamic sitting with ERGO TOP, and the technology is ergonomically tested and certified by the LGA.
