Primer X94 INSULATING PRIMER IN AQUEOUS DISPERSION FOR GYPSUM- AND ANHYDRITEBASED SUBSTRATES. FOR INTERIORS. READY TO USE. Synthetic resin-based primer in aqueous dispersion. The product is colored to facilitate the identification of treated areas. Also suitable as a base coat before applying gypsum-based plasters, skim coats, cementitious smoothers on absorbent substrates such as: cellular concrete, concrete, bricks. The substrates must be clean, solid, compact, crack-free, properly cured and without rising damp. Cement, lime, gypsum residue or old binders can be mechanically removed by sanding, abrasion or using other suitable techniques. Anhydrite floors must be previously sanded and therefore dusted. Use a hygrometer to check that the residual humidity is not greater than 0.5% in the case of gypsum-based plasters or substrates. Ready-to-use product without the need for any preparation. If the primer is used as an insulator for the installation of ceramic and porcelain tiles with cementitious adhesives, the package needs to be shaken before use and the product applied undiluted on the gypsum-based substrate.
