(310 ml) cartridge (boxes with 20 pcs) Sealing of marble and all natural stone, e.g. sandstone, quartz, granite, gneiss, porphyry, etc. in interiors and exteriors. Sealing of expansion joints on walls and facades. The surfaces to be grouted or bonded must be perfectly clean, dry and free of dust, grease, oil and old paint. Cleaning non-porous surfaces: clean with OTTO Cleaner T (drying time about 1 minute) and a dry fiber-free cloth. Cleaning porous surfaces: clean the surfaces mechanically, e..g with a steel brush or a smoothing disc to remove loose particles. Remove the top part of the threaded part of the cartridge, screw in the plastic nozzle and cut it to the right angle depending on the desired diameter and profile. Insert the cartridge in a manual or air gun (with telescopic piston) and extrude the adhesive grout, being careful to avoid the entrainment of air. Once opened, the packages must be used in a relatively short time. The ideal operating temperature for the substrate and grout is between 59°F (15°C) and 77°F (25°C). The joints must be finished within the grout open time. Avoid contact with solvents during cross-linking. In the case of non-polished natural stone in particular, take care not to soil the areas around the joint because the product residue is difficult to remove. Especially in the case of sensitive, rough and absorbent natural stone surfaces, such as sandstone and limestone, it is recommended to apply an adhesive on the edges of the joints to prevent the seal from being pressed into the surface of the natural stone during polishing. This may cause stains which may not be able to be removed afterwards. Dust deposits on silicone residue can cause further impurities.
