Litostrip CLEANER GEL FOR THE REMOVAL OF EPOXY GROUT RESIDUE ALSO EFFECTIVE FOR THE DEEP CLEANING OF TOUGH DIRT. Litostrip is a clear gel made from a mix of solvents, which can easily be applied with a trowel or brush on both horizontal and vertical surfaces. • Ready to use • The thick and viscous consistency makes it easy to apply even on walls • Effective in removing consolidated epoxy residue even after some time 0.8 qts. (0.75 l) metal bottles (boxes with 12 pcs) Litostrip is a product designed for the total removal of Starlike® EVO or EpoxyÉlite EVO set epoxy grouts in joints, or of halos left on ceramic surfaces due to incorrect or insufficient cleaning. Shake well before use. The product is ready to use and does not require any dilution. Spread a thin, even layer of product on the parts to be removed using a brush or trowel. Let the Litostrip work until the residue has softened. 10-20 minutes are normally sufficient for halos and 1 to 8 hours for the removal of set grout. Then remove any residual epoxy grout with the aid of a metal trowel. Wipe with a clean, dry rag to remove the gel and rinse with plenty of clean water. If necessary, proceed with a second wash. • Spread the product at temperatures between 40°F and 95°F • Do not dilute the product with water or solvents • Before use, protect doors, windows, rubber gaskets, furniture, taps and fittings, metal or PVC profiles and all surfaces that may be damaged by direct contact with the detergents • Change the rinse water frequently • In the case of accidental leaks, soak up the product using an absorbent material (paper, sawdust, vermiculite, etc.) and dispose of it in a suitable container • Handle the product with extreme care as it is easily flammable • Do not smoke during use • Do not use on non-solvent-resistant products such as: plastics, PVC, linoleum, decorative enamels, etc. • In the case of polished or honed tiles and polished natural stones, perform a spot test first to check that the product doesn’t dull the surface • Do not use the product for applications not stated in this technical sheet • If in doubt, contact the Litokol S.p.A Technical Help Service.
